Get Ready With Me in: One, Two, Three–FAB!
I know for a fact that getting ready in record time is always a mission for us fashion and make-up junkies! It’s so hard to look flawless without spending more than 2 hours on your face, hair and outfit, sooooo…I have come up with a four step plan on how to save time on your face for semi-casual to casual outings. This method honestly works for me because I just follow the steps and don’t waste time thinking about what to do next!
I also arrange my products neatly so that I don’t have to rummage through all my stuff for an eye pencil or whatever I need next. A good example is when chefs place all their ingredients in neat little bowls before they start cooking-it saves them time and helps them to plan the next action without thinking about it for too long.
*Remember this really depends on your personal preference so please don’t judge me 😉 You can also skip some of the steps or even add a few for a more glam look.
Step 1
I’ve already combed my hair (weave) and am busy setting my edges before I start on my face. That’s why you can see a head wrap in the first step 🙂
Step 2
I start by shaping and filling in my eyebrows, you can see that there is already some concealer around them so that things move faster and at this stage I already know that once I’m done with my brows I need to move onto my eyelids. Before I do that I blend my concealer in to shape out my eyebrows. I also add foundation to the top half of my face and blend it in nicely. Because I’ve already added my foundation base, primer and concealer I quickly do my eyeshadow and move to the next step.
Step 3
Here I basically blended my foundation through the rest of my face, blushed my cheeks, added a wing tip to my eyelids, mascara to my lashes and did my lipstick too! *Sorry if this sounds like an express mission but that’s honestly how I do it 😉
Step 4
I’ve removed my head wrap and styled my hair, in one, two three-FAB! In case you were wondering which products I used I added a list below…
